[edit] Start dates
I think the start dates are wrong, they seem to be the same as the election dates, and generally the legislature does not first sit until a few weeks later. I may have to take those down, but I don't know whether the end dates are right. Does anyone have a source for them? --Arctic Gnome (talk • contribs) 22:29, 15 February 2007 (UTC)
- The Start dates that I got for the assemblies were at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Ontario_Parliaments, so I assumed that the dates were valid. The end dates seem valid as they were the day of dissolution and request of an election. The start dates do seem that they are the date of the election, and before the house were to meet for the furst time. However in a technical sense the information is right Dcraig9 01:35, 16 February 2007 (UTC)

- So they're using the date that the writs were returned. Come to think of it, I guess that is, in fact, the date that a new parliament starts rather than on the date that the first session sits. Maybe I'll change that on the federal page. --Arctic Gnome (talk • contribs) 06:46, 16 February 2007 (UTC)
