This is a great start but the article is confusing. I suggest a table per year, something like:

Year - Name of the main host location
Class Gold Silver Bronze
helm/crew Nation helm/crew Nation helm/crew Nation
~class name~ ~helm~
~crew~
~Nation 1~ ~helm~
~crew~
~Nation 2~ ~helm~
~crew~
~Nation 3~
~next class name~ ~helm~
~crew~
~Nation 1~ ~helm~
~crew~
~Nation 2~ ~helm~
~crew~
~Nation 3~

The format of the early Olympic yachting regatta was very different from the present day, see Royal Yachting Association and their website for some details.

2004 the original article had two diff sets of women 470 gold medallists in the 470. Apart from that I've tidied and wikified. What happened to bronze medal winners and the rest of the classes? But at least this stub now works as a bona fide stub Fiddle Faddle 23:45, 18 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Change of Direction

The full results pages are far more comprehensive than this could ever be.

Turned the entire article into a disambig page.

[edit] 1909 (etc) ratings

Please could you explain these in a small section in the article? Are these years or some measurement factor? Fiddle Faddle 22:00, 4 October 2006 (UTC)

I have no idea!! The Antwerp official report is awfully sparse, and in French, so it's of limited usefulness. I am going by the IOC website, which shows two distinct events (and medal winners) for each class in the 1920 Games. Andrwsc 22:22, 4 October 2006 (UTC)
Oh lord. That makes it rather difficult, I fear. Fiddle Faddle 22:38, 4 October 2006 (UTC)
