What is the source of this list? The Bible Through the Ages (Bruce Metzger, ed.) says that there are 52 texts generally accepted as pseudoepigraphic, written between 200 BC and 200 AD. The list (not enumerated) is said to include 19 apocalypses, 8 testaments, 13 legends or expansions of biblical stories, 5 books of wisdom, and 7 books of prayers and psalms.
