[edit] Reconstruction in Process!!!

Hi, I'm rearanging the current list to mke it more sucsinct, adding over 400 as yet unadded alumni in the process and ...afterwards....putting it all in alphabetical order. I would appreciate a reduction in any editing of this page until finnished. This will take around 2 weeks, but will be worth it!, thanks :) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.140.199.173 (talk) 01:47, 9 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Cleaning up the list

I am returning this list to alphabetical order. If some future editor wishes to group the names in another way, it would be most helpful to include headers (e.g., British Prime Ministers and Statesment, Scientists, etc.). I am also providing a one- or two-word description of notability for individuals without titles, and added commas between the names and the descriptors. Risker 04:43, 14 April 2006 (UTC)

I notice that the cleanup tag was added to this article in the midst of completing the above-noted cleanup. The tag was added by an Anon. Would whoever added the tag please identify what they consider to be in need of cleanup? Risker 16:42, 23 April 2006 (UTC)

A possible reason is the two lines:
Seven Harrovians have held the position of British Prime Minister.
Nineteen Harrovians were awarded the Victoria Cross.
Who were they exactly? -- Slumgum | yap | stalk | 21:55, 29 April 2006 (UTC)

I see. Well, perhaps the most straightforward solution is to remove these two sentences. The British Prime Ministers are identified as such already in the list. While the Harrow website states that 19 of its alumni were awarded the Victoria Cross, there is no list of who these individuals are, so best to leave it out. Risker 02:22, 1 May 2006 (UTC)
