[edit] Genres
Why don't we include a column for the genre of the game? Dbmayur 08:13, 14 June 2007 (UTC)dbmayur
[edit] Super Mario 64 DS
And just to show I'm not lying about this, this would be the relevant link. Check out the vid labelled "Gameplay Demonstration" - it clearly shows the title screen, and it says "Super Mario 64 DS". 64x4 was for the E3 thing only; the new official name is 64 DS. Shadow Hog 04:23, 9 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- Ok, sorry for my paranoid change. –Andre (talk) 04:37, Oct 9, 2004 (UTC)
- No problem, just missed the update I guess. :P Shadow Hog 15:29, 9 Oct 2004 (UTC)
[edit] Ultimate Spider-Man conflict...
I added Ultimate Spider-Man under 'U', but there is already a listing for the Ultimate Spider-Man comics of course. I don't know if we should add a seperate page for this console/handheld game version of the comics. —Preceding unsigned comment added by RoyalFool (talk • contribs)
Well, It's always been when a computer or video game based on a movie comes out, it's listed under the movie. So, Toy Story for the Game Boy would be listed under Toy Story, not Toy Story (game) - Joizashmo June 30, 2005 00:02 (UTC)
[edit] Another Code / Trace Memory
One month ago, I added Another Code, as I could find it in the list. As I had the (europeen) game with me, it seemd correct to look at either "Another Code" or "Two Memories".
Jasonglchu, you removed it, saying "It's been renamed Trace Memory", which would be fine for me except:
a) My boxed game don't says Trace Memory
b) The image in the 'Trace_Memory' article don't say "Trace Memory", but is exactly the same as the one I have in my hands.
c) "Advance Wars : Dual Strike" is NOT named "Famicom Wars DS"
I am a bit lost at the rationale behind that. Are only the American titles referenced ? Can't we add both, or add the alternate name after the American one ? I mean, I really searched in the list, but couldn't find the game I had just bought... And by searching, I means ctrl-F another, ctrl-F code, ctrl-F two and ctrl-F memories... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.230.65.68 (talk • contribs)
- Trace Memory is the official US name, I guess that is why it was deleted. Maybe we should consider adding the european name when it differs? -- ReyBrujo 01:36, 31 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Rotate and Connect Touch Panic
Jasonglchu, you removed it because it was 'unverifiable'. Well, look here: this article or at this scan. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.230.65.68 (talk • contribs)
- All right. Just checking to make sure. It might be worth mentioning that the title, Rotate and Connect Touch Panic, is only a working title. jglc | t | c 14:02, 1 August 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Using country flags instead of abbreviations
After checking A Link to the Past's last edit [1], I think it would be better to use the SVG free flags. However, it may be not useful for non-graphical browsers. Just an idea. Opinions? -- ReyBrujo 02:12, 27 May 2006 (UTC)
- Maybe it could look like the List of Nintendo 64 games, or for a more simpler aproach, each flag can be added next to each game. For example, to add the flag of Japan next to a game type
*''[[Anygame]]'' {{flagicon|Japan}}
to add the Japanese flag. Overall, I think simple is better. Ceros 17:57, 26 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Super Smash Bros DS
Is this real?? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Zeldamaster3 (talk • contribs) .
- Sources? -- ReyBrujo 17:00, 17 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Released in AU?
What's the point in having an (AU) tag when you're not going to list all the games released in Australia?
[edit] Touch Generations
Should there be a Touch Generations tag? --Thrashmeister 18:18, 10 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] List Cleanup.
This list is in need of an update. References need to be added for each game. I placed the {{cleanup-list}} and {{listdev}} templates for now. Ceros 18:04, 26 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Europa Universalis II
- Europa Universalis II (Pocket PC Studios) (UR)
I deleted this one from the l;ist, because according to the article, this game was released in 2001 for the PC. dposse 01:09, 13 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Better design?
I've started to redo this page to put the design in line with the design used on List of Nintendo 64 games. You can see the work in progress here. Let me know Stump
- The design for the List of Nintendo 64 games is actually based off of the List of Virtual Boy games. One of the editor's goals was to get it in line with the List of Virtual Boy games. If you want I can help out. Also, there's a way to get the setup done quickly by using a word processor and a text editor. Ceros 18:36, 27 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] WE NEED SOURCES AND CLEANUP!
Can someone please look through this article and provide sources for everything and clean it up? thanks. dposse 14:55, 27 November 2006 (UTC)
- Games that have articles don't need sourcing. Assuming they have a box art image or something at least.--SeizureDog 12:46, 3 December 2006 (UTC)
- Look up. Are you telling me that Europa Universalis II, which has an article, is an actual game for the DS? It was released in 2001. Sources will help cut down on the amount of spam and vandalism. dposse 20:52, 10 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] suggestions:
1. Use the wikimedia citation program in conjuction with the nintendo website for the citations
2. While your there, why not add symbols and a legend to show types of connectivity avaible such as wi-fi, single-pak, etc.
3. Stick to the North American release names and keep the Japanese and European release names for the corresponding language section of Wikipedia, or put the alternate names in a separate article itself.
4. Adding some other external links to games that have their own site might be good.
5. Continue updating the information as new titles are released.

- Re 3. This is not the American Wikipedia, it is the English Language Wikipedia. Some games released in Europe (and Great Britain) have a different English Language title to the American title. JP Godfrey (Talk to me) 20:37, 7 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] WikiLoco
WikiLoco has been making a lot of changes. Right now his actions are under scrutiny, and I'm wondering if the changes that he's making on this page are appropriate or not. They'ren't being sourced, so I do have the right to remove all of them, but it's a list, and lists like this are rarely sourced. Can anyone back up his changes here? McKay 16:25, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] My list.
[2] Please make improvements, using Animal Crossing: Wild World as an example. - A Link to the Past (talk) 23:37, 23 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Cookie&Cream
Has anyone heard about this game? I read a review about it in Nintendo Power —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 168.170.204.50 (talk • contribs).
[edit] Sideways Games
Anybody object to adding a code for those games which are played Sideways? It's currently only three entries, AFAICT, but that might be expanded. Yes, the page itself is up for deletion, but I don't think it's because people have considered including the information here or not. FrozenPurpleCube 21:58, 14 April 2007 (UTC)
- The article was indeed deleted. I think you might as well be bold and just go ahead with your idea. I don't remember the games that were listed on that page, but now that I look at this page, do we really need a legend for all the regions? They seem redundant, considering that the information is for most part indicated in the release date column. Dancter 21:50, 17 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Sonic Rush 2
Sonic Rush Adventure has been confirmed by Sega, but I don't see it listed. Docta_D 22:05, 20 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] List Format and Cleanup
This list is horribly cluttered and the format is terrible. The (UR),(NA), (WF), etc. just take up unnecessary space. They and the release dates perhaps should be replaced by a "Regions Released" column like that of other video game lists. This list should replaced in favor of one similar to the List of PlayStation Portable games or A Link to the Past's List of Nintendo DS games. --Toxicroak 00:11, 21 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Irrelevance in the list
What's the point of making an NDS-list if all the games aren't linked to the specific NDS-version? As there's such a huge difference between the xbox 360 version of NFS Most wanted and the NDS one, the article gets quite irrelevant. The GFX on the different consoles isn't really on par with each other.
Pezzar 03:20, 17 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Suggestions
I have been updating this list for the past two weeks and it just keeps getting longer and that isn't to good for those with slow browsers. I suggest that we change the format to match the list of GameCube games or the list of Wii games to make it a smaller page.Bovineboy2008 16:02, 16 June 2007 (UTC)
- I would suggest switching to the format used by the List of GameCube games. That's what I've slowly been switching the List of Game Boy Advance games to. --Toxicroak 20:18, 16 June 2007 (UTC)
Could someone please change "Release dates" to "Countries released in" or something like that? And do you think we should mention which games have Wi-Fi? Pezzar 03:20, 17 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Unnamed games
Are we listing unnamed games--games that are confirmed but don't have a title yet? If so, does it go under "U" for Unnamed? -- VederJuda 16:38, 21 June 2007 (UTC)
- They go under "Untitled", like Untitled Sonic RPG. Mushroom (Talk) 17:21, 12 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Games not released yet
Should games that aren't yet released, such as Oban Star Racers be included in the list? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Koji toa of ice (talk • contribs) 23:27, August 29, 2007 (UTC)
- Yes, they should, if there is a reliable source that states they will be released. Mushroom (Talk) 17:20, 12 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Starfox Command
Pardon me if I just happened to overlook it, but I didn't find "Starfox Command" on the list. BlueX511 17:11, 12 November 2007 (UTC)
- It's there, right below Spyro: Shadow Legacy and above Star Trek: Tactical Assault. Mushroom (Talk) 17:19, 12 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Number of games in the list
I added the game Soul Bubbles to the list, on April 7, 2008. I think the number of games inside the list was 562 before it, so I modified this to 563. I think the edit is right, but I'm not sure. Is it the number calculation just plain text or have some sort of html formula?? RG4ever (talk) 06:49, 7 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Game references
Are references for every game really necessary? The other 7th generation game lists do not have this mandatory policy, and as the number of DS games go up, the footnote list is gonna get really bulky and unwieldy. I say it's time to get rid of this requirement. Richiekim (talk) 13:22, 7 April 2008 (UTC)
I think references for every game is necessary, and useful. We are trying to make a comprehensive list that would be the unique source in the near future to know all the Nintendo DS games released up to date. The official websites could not maintain the info forever, but the wiki does. This is one of the most important things wikipedia is know for.
What I propose is divide the list into smaller ones. I don't have the proper technicall knowledge to perform such a task but that is cut&paste for advanced wikipedians. RG4ever (talk) 14:08, 7 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Games To Be Added To List
Many games are missing. We should place the missing games here and whoever is motivated, can add them to the list proper.
Here are two games not included: Operation: Vietnam (2006/Majesco) and Wordjong (2007/Destineer) DJParker369 (talk) 17:59, 13 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Smackdown 2008 Mistake
Under WWE Smackdown! vs RAW 2008, it says unreleased as opposed to the flags of countries it's in. Could somebody fix that up? Steeldragon493 (talk) 18:37, 16 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Split?
Long article Does anyone else think this should be split, possibly into List of Nintendo DS games (A-M) and List of Nintendo DS games (N-Z)? This list is already long and is only ever get to get longer. -Justin (koavf)❤T☮C☺M☯ 18:57, 18 May 2008 (UTC)
- I think that would be a good idea ^_^. It would also help weed out having to scroll up and down to find the specific letter section ^_^. Would you like to start on it? AjaaniSherisu (talk) 06:48, 19 May 2008 (UTC)
- We should shorten the references, one reference for more games and not for every game one referece, the reference list ist too long and thats the problem. kloxpark
