On the image page for the Islanders logo is the following:
"This is a logo of a corporation, team, or other organization related to sports, and is protected by copyright and/or trademark. It is believed that the use of low-resolution images of logos
- to illustrate the corporation, sports team, or organization in question
- on the English-language Wikipedia, hosted on servers in the United States by the non-profit Wikimedia Foundation,
qualifies as fair use under United States copyright law."
On a page referring to the Islanders, it would seem to me that using the logo is fair use. It is illustrating the team in question. As such, I've reverted the article.
