[edit] Determining the seasons

How exactly are the seasons determined? They don't match up with the opening themes or years. The appear to consist of 26 episodes each, but even then there are exceptions. Besides, why 26 episodes? Most of the Japanese sources I've seen either don't split them up into any sort of seasons, or split them up by year. --JadziaLover (talk) 15:10, 26 March 2008 (UTC)
