Talk:List of King of the Hill episodes

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Any thoughts on making pages for each episode? An episode guide perhaps?

  • I do not get what you are saying if we made a page for each episode that would be an additional 184 pages. although, it's not a bad idea! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.28.226.152 (talk • contribs) 15:23, 4 October 2005
    • If no-one objects (i.e. thinks it's a waste of time/not signfiicant enough), I'm willing to make a start on pages for each episode. Wezzo 13:23, 11 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Corrections

I just made a quick correction, it says that in episode 218 that the chef is Japanese, but in fact the chef was Mexican and only the restaurant itself was Japanese. In fact, this was part of the joke, since Cotton calls the chef a "tojo" and the chef responds with a confused look, asking "¿Qué es 'tojo'?" —Preceding unsigned comment added by 139.182.150.66 (talk) 03:07, 19 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Merging of Articles

Anyone mind if I go ahead and help with the merging of King of the Hill Episode Descriptions with this article sometime soon? --FlyingPenguins 06:26, 20 October 2005 (UTC)

I am the creator of this King of the Hill Page and I strongly agree with the format that this page has been modified to. I also agree with the completion of episode lists for the 10th and last season. I will soon put the descriptions in their appropriate places.

It seems that there is an episode missing in Season 1 The Company Man- originally aired 12/7/97 (this episode was included in the first season DVD- but is it a first season episode?) -anon

I think it would be a good idea to make a page for every episode, just like the "South Park" page. -NapoleonD

[edit] Confusion

Hmmmmm, this list seems to be in broadcast order, yet it does not correspond to the order the episodes appear in on the DVDs (which were in production code order for the 1st season and broadcast order for season 2 onward). I thought I should point this out, as it makes things very, very confusing. Also, the episode "The Substitute Spanish Prisoner" from season 5 (although it aired during 6) seems to be missing. - 68.37.125.87 19:39, 8 August 2006 (UTC)

I agree the list is quite confusing. I think it should be changed to DVD order since the original air date order is irrelevant now. Dukemeiser 23:37, 9 April 2007 (UTC)

("The Substitute Spanish Prisoner" added 21 Sep 2006)

When is the release date for the next King of the Hill DVD (Season 7)? I've watched seasons 1 thru 6 repeatedly. Are there any plans to release the next few seasons? Latonya38 19:15, 28 March 2007 (UTC)

FOX usually takes a while to release DVD box sets, so its no surprise that the season 7 has been delayed. Music clearances can often be a very expensive and time consuming process so that may be holding back the DVD releases. My best guess is that it'll be released in the US later this year. (I hope). Unfortunately, there doesn't appear to be any plans for Fox to release the season 7 onwards at this time. KOTH seasons 1-6 did not sell well, so there appears to be no current plans to release the later seasons.

[edit] Single episodes

I plan on redirecting these per WP:EPISODE soon. Information from multiple secondary sources must be present for a single episode to need an article. This includes reception and development. Single plot summaries and trivia don't make a substantial article. I suggest Wikia and tv.com as alternate venues for this information. TTN 22:59, 30 May 2007 (UTC)

the following episodes: Hank's Got the Willies; Keeping Up With Our Joneses; Square Peg; The Man Who Shot Kane Skretteberg; The Order of the Straight Arrow are being reviewed under WP:EPISODE. You can find the discussion here. Gwinva 10:36, 28 June 2007 (UTC)
The result of the first set of reviews for the KOTH episodes for "Hank's Got the Willies", "Keeping Up With Our Joneses", "Square Peg", "The Man Who Shot Kane Skretteberg", "The Order of the Straight Arrow" was a consensus to redirect the articles to this page (see the discussion). If there was anything pertinent that was on the articles that you think should be made available to readers, please follow the redirect links back to the articles and go into the history to retrieve the information. Please note that another set of KOTH episodes are up still in review. Please see the current discussion and come share your thoughts before the review is closed out.  BIGNOLE  (Contact me) 02:57, 6 July 2007 (UTC)
Just an update, the discussion on the second batch of articles has closed, and the decision was to redirect to this page. Just so you know. I  (said) (did) 03:52, 7 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Creating epesode pages

I would like to propose that we make new articles for all the King of the Hill episodes. If you could just comment below.--76.229.169.203 (talk) 03:53, 7 January 2008 (UTC)

You might want to read the comments right above yours before doing so. -- Ned Scott 04:21, 7 January 2008 (UTC)

Yeah I think all of the episodes need articles. This show is just as important and well loved as Family Guy or The Simpsons. But sadly I do not have time to create the articles. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.33.149.202 (talk) 16:59, 18 February 2008 (UTC)
