[edit] Ethnicity lists discussion
Please see discussion at Wikipedia:Village pump (policy) for current discussion of a potential policy to apply to all ethnicity lists on Wikipedia, including this one. JackO'Lantern 20:38, 11 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Sources
I have sourced the list in accordance with Wikipedia's Original Research and Verifiability policies. Basically, anyone described by a reliable source as "Jamaican" or "Jamaican-American" (i.e. as opposed to "of Jamaican descent", "Jamaican mother", etc.) is on the list. Here are the few people I couldn't find anything for. If you have a reliable source that fits that please restore the names:
- Shari Belafonte
- Heavy D & the Boyz
- The Notorious B.I.G.
- Louis Farrakhan - Nation of Islam leader
- Styles P
- Busta Rhymes

[edit] Search for Jamaican American
If a person searches for the term Jamaican American, they should be linked to Jamaican American(s).
[edit] other Jamaican Americans
You could also add rappers D-Nice, Heavy D and KRS-1. They are from Jamaican descent.
