[edit] Hand On CSD

I'd like to make this into a list of the academic units at Hofstra University. I know it looks rough now, and I'm still learning some of the listing formatting on wikipedia. Any advice you can provide would be appreciated. Mbisanz 03:37, 31 October 2007 (UTC)

I suggest you first of all create it at List of Hofstra University academic units instead of its current location. However, I still doubt whether such a list merits inclusion in Wikipedia. What's the purpose of the page? Everything in it is contained in the link at the bottom. Personally I think it would be wiser to just link that page from Hofstra University. Speaking of that article, I took a look at the history - I suggest you make more frequent use of the "preview" function of the wikipedia editor, in order to make a more concise summary of what you have edited so that people checking the history don't have to plough through many minuscule revisions. — flamingspinach | (talk) 03:46, 31 October 2007 (UTC)
Thank you for the suggestions. I agree that much of the data on the list comes from the below source. What I am trying to have the list include is a linking of the departments to programs to prefixes, which I don't believe is given at the source. As to preview function. I do use it, but sometimes when making several edits (like adding the prefixes) my internet connection dies and with it my reviews. I'll try to make better use of it in the future and will at least move the page to the proper list, with CSD tag and hangon, pending further resolution.Mbisanz 03:49, 31 October 2007 (UTC)
I've figured out how to create tables. Since it looks like a lengthy procedure, would creating a table showing the relationships satisfy your objections, or are there other issues I need to resolve besides coding?Mbisanz 04:02, 31 October 2007 (UTC)
