[edit] Just so you know...

As I was writing the first phases of this, early yesterday morning, some one was trying to break into my house. I'm being totally serius. A guy was trying to jack the front door open, dogs started barking, a couple of police cars showed up... all the while I was working on this page. Does that mean I have misplaced priorities, or am just calm under pressure?--Dudeman5685 04:41, 15 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Why the bold text?

Just a question... why are the directors in bold rather than the titles of the films? Wouldn't it make more sense for it to be the other way around? As it is now, when I casually scroll through this list all I see is "Directed by", "Directed by", "Directed by", etc. Surely the words "Directed by" aren't more important than the title of the film? It was just my way of distinguising them. Do you think it would be better if I made it a table?--Dudeman5685 18:34, 29 August 2006 (UTC)

If it's not too much trouble - yes, it would be much better. Just have two columns, one for "director" and one for "title". This would make it a lot easier for the readers, I think, to find what they were looking for. I'd be willing to help convert the page, if you show me how to do it (perhaps by converting just the first section - it's a big task, obviously). Esn 20:42, 29 August 2006 (UTC)
Actually, I have another idea... why not make three columns, and in the third one (which would be on the right) have a short description of the film? Many of these films don't have pages yet, and in any case it would be helpful for the reader to get a sense of why the film was important without having to visit the article. Thanks for being so interested. its already been done on the companion List of films made in the Third Reich page, but I wasn't the one who tabled it. I'll have to look up how exactly to make those.--Dudeman5685 05:12, 30 August 2006 (UTC)
I have already "tables" years 1921-23, but had difficulty, as it always showed up at the bottem of the screeen for some reason. The problems are well documented in the History, and you can go back and copy the tabled version from the History - edit pages. I've reverted to your last change for now. How do you put the tables in the right places?--Dudeman5685 23:49, 2 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Weimar Germany?

Is there such a thing as Weimar Germany? At least write it with a dash to avoid confusion with Weimar Germany.--87.171.20.85 06:44, 11 September 2007 (UTC)
