[edit] Gauss and Dedekind? Problems in inverse transliteration.
It is probable that the names of some characters are taken by the German mathematicians, since Kishiro uses often German names or words (for instance, Sechs, Elf, Zwölf). In this case, Gauss is correctly transliterated, but Dedekind/Dedkinto appears uncorrect. I have already seen errors in "inverse transliterations", i. e. Occidental transliterations of Japanese transliteration of originally Occidental words...
Another error is in Alita Last Order: Cam Ranh is probably Camlann, the death place of Arthur, related with the Round Table Knights, as Merlin, Morgana and so on.

I used a translation of the French editions, since these side stories haven't been published in English. If you can confirm that Dedkinto is supposed to be Dedekind, a source would be appreciated.
Re. the Camlann thing, that belongs in the Last Order talk page. --BrokenSphere 23:55, 7 June 2007 (UTC)
