==IRON Army by MR Unseen== if the iron army is the stand in of the nazis, dues this mean extreme and sgt savage take place in an alternate history or is the iron army just a terrorist group founded and run by the nazis during the war (as part of secret history or something like that). pls respond-mr unseen

I suppose one could argue that the original G.I. Joe continuity is an "alternate universe" based upon this fact. From what I understand, the producers of Sgt. Savage and the Screaming Eagles were uncomfortable in using the Nazi name and imagery, so instead they created the "Iron Army" which in every other way is simply the Nazi regime. Seth0708 18:06, 14 January 2007 (UTC) -Thanks, to futher this dicusion, I was under the influence that the iron army was either a terrorist group fighting for hitler's germany or a secretive branch of the nazis. oh, by the way if you consider ARAH to be connected to extreme take note: in the second epsiode of pyramid of darkness, shipwreck mentions hitler had a pet bird when a cobra officer spots him (disguise as a cobra worker) and snake eyes bringing along timber and polly claiming they were destro's pets.-mr unseen
