Talk:List of Fordham University people

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The biography page linked to Mary Jo Quinlan's name (Business) notes that she is an alumna of St. Josephs's in Philadelphia, not Fordham.--Shoreranger 15:14, 22 July 2006 (UTC)

She has a Fordham MBA too. [1]--Mantanmoreland 15:31, 22 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Introductory sentence

While the current one is correct, can't this just be shortened to say "The following is an incomplete list of notable Fordham University alumni"?

After all, all Wiki lists are inherently incomplete, and of course any reader can always add someone to make up for an omission.--Mantanmoreland 14:47, 7 August 2006 (UTC)

An anon IP added a template intro which I think was pretty good, so I removed the existing introduction, now duplicative.--Mantanmoreland 14:45, 9 August 2006 (UTC)

Thanks. I meant to remove the duplicative language mysefl when I added the template, and then I forgot to do it!

[edit] Jonathon Edington

According to CNN[2], he has a Fordham Law degree, but I'm waiting for consensus before adding him to the list. Thoughts? Wl219 21:12, 31 August 2006 (UTC)

I don't know about that. This is a fairly minor arrest, isn't it? I don't think this makes him notable. I can see if he committed a major crime. Now that would be notable!--Mantanmoreland 21:40, 31 August 2006 (UTC)
I think murder counts as a major crime, no? Wl219 06:51, 5 September 2006 (UTC)
