Talk:List of European folk music traditions

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I see that "Klezmer" is categorised under "Jewish American". Surely it was European first, and American later. The Jewish communities in Poland and Germany made records in the 1920s. Ogg 20:27, 26 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Inappropriate Red links

I see the list has overused wikilinks and may need serious cleanup: see WP:EGG and WP:CONTEXT. Help would be most welcome here. Professor marginalia (talk) 17:58, 19 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Germany

What ist "bacchu-ber" - never heard the word, and the orthography says, this isn't a german word.
To link "Bavaria" to "see Germany" isn't as correct as it seems to be. Concerning music Bavaria is a alpine country and thus related to Austrian and Swiss music more than to the rest of Germany (yodeling, Schuhplattler, Blasmusik etc.) 217.228.123.192 (talk) 07:43, 21 April 2008 (UTC)
