Hello all. Has Eucalyptus rossi (known as scribbly gum around here; Canberra), been renamed? Its not on the list though several other scribbly's are. Alexander110 04:01, 11 May 2007 (UTC)

Between 2004 and 2006, E. rossii was considered a subspecies of E. racemosa.[1] This list was created in 2005, which probably explains why E. rossii was omitted. Since 2006 it has been a current name again, so feel free to add it. Hesperian 05:32, 11 May 2007 (UTC)
Thank you, have done. Alexander110 03:33, 23 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] E. globulus complex

E. bicostata and E. maidenii are not on the list but E. pseudoglobulus is. The case is quite confused indeed, as even different herbaria have different opinion: NSW (http://plantnet.rbgsyd.nsw.gov.au/floraonline.htm) says they are distinct species, all the others consider them subspecies of E. globulus. I would suggest the NSW style could been adopted here, just because it is simplier (fewer articles needed), and E. bicostata and E. maidenii would be added to the list. Now the information in the Eucalyptus globulus article is only about E. globulus s.stricto = E. globulus subsp. globulus, but in the Blue gum article the four taxa are considered subspecies of E. globulus. Krasanen (talk) 15:02, 14 March 2008 (UTC) I added the two species. Krasanen (talk) 08:10, 18 March 2008 (UTC)
