Shouldn't Benjani be the last man on the Winter list? This point probably applies to several other transfers at the top of this list too, most notably Defoe's transfer. The point is that these transfers actually went through on 31st January, and were made as part of the January transfer window. They weren't ratified until 4th Feb, but they were submitted and essentially completed on 31st Jan. The 4th Feb date is more due to disorganisation than anything else, and let's not forget that they were ratified because the Premier League/FA was satisfied that they had been completed before the deadline.
