Talk:List of Edmontonians
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
No. Pro Wrestling is sports-entertainment. And Benoit is perhaps the most athletic of all on the current WWE roster. He defnetly belongs underr athletes. I am proposing we move Rochelle Loewen however as she was in WWE for all of a month and never once wrestled. She is more famous for being in Playboy. So I suggest we put her under models.

wayne gretzky is not an edmontonian, so im deleting his name from this list -- Zapacna 17:25, 18 August 2005 (UTC)
I have edited the line "* Grant Fuhr - hockey player - born in Spruce Grove, Alberta, which is now part of Edmonton" to say that Spruce Grove is an Edmonton suburb. It is not officially a part of the city and many there (and in nearby Stony Plain) are opposed to amalgamation with Edmonton. --Anonymous Coward
I am moving Chris Benoit to actors. Pro Wrestling is not a sport, but an act.
We should probably add the infamous curling team of Randy Ferbey, David Nedohin, et. al --Joe Zasada
Hmmm - I'd say Wayne Gretzky became famous while living in Edmonton and so would be notable and eligible for the list. Edmonton named a road after him. 142.229.136.225 20:57, 5 December 2006 (UTC)
