Talk:List of Doug characters
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Talk about patti's father being crippled and living in a two story house. When Doug asks for patti, patti's dad says, hold on i'll go get her for you and shes on the second floor.
Who did the vocals for the Beets?
I don't pretend to be a Doug characters expert, but I question the accuracy of the discography at the end of the article, along with the appropriateness of one of the comments in this discussion page.

- "Beets Me" was mentioned in the episode Doug Rocks, "Meet the Beets" is on a poster in Skeeter's room in the same episode. I'm not sure if "Beets Me" is in fact their first album; logically, "Meet the Beets" would make more sense. Killer Tofu and Where's My Sock are mentioned as songs on an unnamed "new album" in that episode, I don't know where the hell the title "Live in New Hamster" comes from. "Bug in a Rug" was mentioned in the video game Doug's Big Game (mentioned in a walkthough here), as was "The What Album" (I have a screenshot of this). I don't know about "Let it Beet" although it might have been mentioned early on in the Disney version of the show. --Rubber cat 04:31, 7 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Doug's official age
In the main article about Doug the animated series it says that in Disney's Doug, Doug is 12 1/2 years old. I'd like to know Doug's original age before the series cancellation in 1994 and I'd also like to suggest we add both ages to this article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Kenneth Hardeman (talk • contribs) 21:19, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] The "Annoying" company
Does anyone have any information on that one company in the series that makes annoying products? i.e., socks that don't match, arcades you can't beat(and require 82 cents in exact change) —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 198.60.195.11 (talk) 20:44, 30 April 2007 (UTC).
Does anybody remember the name of the Arnold Schwarzenegger - type character from the Nick series? He was a body builder and minor movie actor, and was the face of a Fitness Challenge at Doug's school. In the episode, while training for the fitness challenge, Doug injurs his hands and feet, rendering him unable to compete in any event except for the sit-up contest, which he wins, then earning the accollades (and a sore handshake) from the Arnold-like man.

Why is Skeeter described as "Doug's version of" Chris Turk from Scrubs, a show that postdates Doug by several years? Patrick Arnett 16:47, 3 September 2007 (UTC)
There is also a reference to floating head doctor on the page... I think someone edited this while watching Scrubs re-runs. Also unless I missed it this article has no information on Roger Klotz, who was a pretty major character and IS mentioned in other character's descriptions. This article needs some clean-up. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.185.95.121 (talk) 23:51, 3 September 2007 (UTC)
I like the "Scrubs" references and believe that they should stay up. I think the "floating head doctor" comparison is good even though the shows are from sligghtly different times. There are alsop similarities between Chris Turk and Skeeter. CadillacDTS 03:16, 12 September 2007 (UTC)
- Oh, come on. The only reason why it could possibly be relevant that there was anything remotely similar to Chris Turk or Floating Head Doctor would be if there were substantial evidence that Scrubs was influenced by Doug. I could probably argue that Roger was based on John Bender from The Breakfast Club based on the same sort of similarities. I'd give this page a major content and stylistic overhaul if I didn't already have a queue of important stuff to do and no time to do it.... Tsunomaru 04:48, 17 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] What is this, amateur hour?
"sounds as if he is either stoned or high." This sucks, is irrelevant, and is unencyclopedic. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 129.110.198.236 (talk) 02:26, 28 March 2008 (UTC)
