[edit] Organization
The name organization here is terrible: "Max Taylor (古代 リュウタ, Kodai Ryuuta, Ryuta Kodai?)"
We should make it clear that Max Taylor and Ryuta Kodai are two separate names.
Using this pattern makes it clear: "Ryuta Kodai (古代 リュウタ, Kodai Ryuuta, ?) / Max Taylor" - This fits the MOS pattern for Japanese names and establishes "Max Taylor" as a separate name from the Japanese names. WhisperToMe (talk) 17:42, 7 April 2008 (UTC)
- I don't remotely get what you're saying here. Your method doesn't make any sense at all, as you're implying to seperate people. The name organisation you claim to be "terrible" groups the English, Japanese and whatever-else-enese names together, no seperation, and makes things clear. Besides, with virtually all the other articles for animes (that were adapted to English), the English names are listed first. CBFan (talk) 18:05, 7 April 2008 (UTC)
- Using that logic, you could use: Max Taylor / "Ryuta Kodai (古代 リュウタ, Kodai Ryuuta, ?) instead. The MOS has a specific format "Name as stated in English" (Japanese Raw romanization of Japanese) - The use here does not comply with the format because "Name as stated in English" =/ different name that happens to be used in English versions of TV shows. - I posted it to Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Anime and manga - I'm fairly certain that others will see it :) WhisperToMe (talk) 18:22, 7 April 2008 (UTC)
- Alright, we for the most part call characters by dub names as the card game uses them too: http://www.sau.sega.com/dinosaurking/brochure.pdf WhisperToMe (talk) 18:10, 11 April 2008 (UTC)
Hmm... see the name organization still bugs me - CBFan, do you think we should have a third opinion? WhisperToMe (talk) 16:17, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
