[edit] Serpent Tail?

We still need to add information about Gai's Serpent Tail. -- --WarpObscura 9 July 2005 03:47 (UTC)

[edit] Gundam Wikicity

This article and other gundam related articles should be created in the Gundam Wikicity instead.

My Thoughts: If you are going to create a gundam wikicity you should for the majority of topics since you seem to be targeting fictional works when midevil writings are fiction and several holidays like Thanksgiving, Christmas and Independance day(all christian or American) have no basis. Although these are my opinion and my history teacher showed me articles on this, for some reason people belive since it is not right to them to have a fiction her it must go. Show me one topic in her that degrades or hurts someone. ~~Demortra~~ first time editing or saying anything so if I did something wrong please tell me.

Your message makes no sense. -69.47.186.226 17:31, 24 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] OMNI Enforcer Ranks

While the rank pips on the neck have been fully explained, there's still much in the dark about both the pauldron colours (one red, one red and one yellow, or a silvered square seem to be the only ones), and the chest colours. Anyone have ideas for elaboration?

[edit] DSSD

This line, "There are bases within both EA and PLANT. F.e. their Technology Development Center is located on the outskirts of Fortaleza, South America," bothers me. First, I think it wouldn't be too much trouble to just write out "For example," which looks a little better in my opinion. Second, by CE73 (Stargazer's timeframe), the United States of South America are independent of the Earth Alliance prior to the Junius Seven incident (they fought their war for independence in CE71 or CE72, in Destiny Astray). So I think the line would read a little better as "The DSSD has bases in the Earth Alliance, PLANT, and at least one other independent nation; for example, the Technology Development Center located on the outskirts of Fortaleza, South America."

[edit] Headline text

the title Phantom pain redirects here, but it should probably redirect to the medical condition Phantom limb. Phantom limb pain currently redirects to Phantom limb.

[edit] Citations Needed for Terminal

The information stated under the Terminal section needs citation. The information stated can be seen as purely specuation.

This information comes from an info book for the anime and was revealed by Deacon Blues on the AnimeSuki forum. Diabound00 18:26, 21 October 2006 (UTC)

References are still needed. If it's from a book, you must state the Title, Author and Page Number(s).

I'm going to correct this, since I'm confident the actual source will easily citable. Though may I point out that no one else is asking for the other factions to be sourced. This seems to just be keeping the article in line with fan misconceptions.--HellCat86 22:32, 3 November 2006 (UTC)

While I agree that other factions are not being sourced, the main difference with Terminal is that it was not featured prominantly as TSA and the Clyne Faction. Much is not "officially" known about Terminal except for fan assumption which is not credible. If citation can't be found, remove it or place into context that it is based on assumption.

In your link, "Official Word" from whom?

Well, it's Mark Simmons (who Bandai themselves consult) citing an official Destiny reference book.--HellCat86 12:48, 10 November 2006 (UTC)

Create a wikipedia reference template and list the reference book from which it came from.

And may I ask when editors will become this insistent on the OTHER factions mentioned?--HellCat86 14:20, 11 November 2006 (UTC)
Again- why is Terminal the only faction being prompted for citations? That's a bias.--HellCat86 22:39, 26 November 2006 (UTC)
The ALL need citations. In fact this entire section needs a major clean up. Inforation that is given are not truely supported.
Previous information is speculative. This summary of Terminal is based on information gathered throughout the episodes of Destiny and not what could be. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 71.126.182.19 (talk) 09:43, 7 January 2007 (UTC).
  • headdesk*So you've gone and put back incorrect facts which conflict with official reference guides? I swear, 'Terminal' is the newest 'Turn A Bang'...--HellCat86 19:18, 7 January 2007 (UTC)
Name your soucres and maybe people will start believing you. I've looked in you forum and none of that information is basie on facts in evidence. The brief summary given is based on what we know from episodes not for word of mouth.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 71.126.182.19 (talk) 05:41, 8 January 2007 (UTC).
I'm sorry, you're just being stubborn. An official source is given and quoted yet you're refusing to acknowledge it. May I also point out again said source is being quoted by Mark Simmons, who is trusted enough that Bandai themselves have been known to consult him--HellCat86 09:40, 8 January 2007 (UTC)
Stobburn....Perhaps, however how hard is to put source tags on your information. There's a good possibility that many people out there don't KNOW who Mark Simmons is let alone heard of him. Secondly, since you seem to HAVE the Gundam SEED Destiny Official File, why not list the page number where you got the information from or website that Mark Simmons has offically posted his statement. If not, send me the information and I'll source-tag it for you. People like me will STOP changing or deleting most of it.
Why? Your sole argument here is that you personally refuse to accept it, so I apparently have to keep proving to you it's true. I notice you aren't scrutinising the rest of the article. I've already provided a source. Just because you refuse to accept it gives you no right to deny it from the article.--HellCat86 18:35, 9 January 2007 (UTC)
My "arguement" is that none of it makes sense. I've provided sources, plural, through episodes, you have provided so far word of mouth and what you say comes from a guide that is currently in kanji.
Your accusations prove you have no idea of the sources you're criticising.--HellCat86 03:42, 11 January 2007 (UTC)
Nor do you. you say that this comes from a guy named Mark Simmons, a guy that consults with Bandai, but in all actuality is just an avid Gundam fan, expressing his point-of-view. I also point out how his website states "Unofficial Gundam Website." however, I've wasted enough time with this, we'll agree to disagree and let fans come to their own conclution.
That's his personal website, that doesn't discount he has worked for Bandai. You're twisting facts rather than accept the truth.--HellCat86 04:03, 11 January 2007 (UTC)
Alright, I'll conceed considering several well-known websites has him listed as an English Script Consultant for serveral Gundam Series, including SEED and DESTINY. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 71.126.182.19 (talk) 04:37, 11 January 2007 (UTC).

Just noticed that as is in the article, we have the start of an explanation for Terminal and then a random mention that the info comes from Mark. I see a few problems there. First of all, whilst Mark has been trusted as a consultant I think it's more relevant to note the actual source he's citing for the info, which he went to length to do for anyone who wanted to check it. Secondly, I think this speaks of a problem with the article. It's like there's an info status quo and if you challenge that you have people calling the information wrong just because it goes against what most fans believe. Whilst we should be citing sources, the fact the Terminal section needs a "This comes from Mark, back off" note is silly. At the end of the day it shouldn't need that. It has an official publication to prove it accurate and fans should be checking for that rather then subscribing to a fan favoured misconception--HellCat86 22:14, 22 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Expanding Terminal Section

I would like to try to expand the Terminal section because it really is too small for an organization that later on plays a vital roll in DESTINY. In the Lacus Clyne and Kira Yamato page, they are listed as the leaders of Terminal. If Terminal is and independant exchange guild/organization, were they the ones that founded Terminal? If so, is Terminal an expantion or reorganization of the Clyne Faction? What do we know about the composition of the organization? From what we got from the episodes, they seems to be made up of all three main factions: EAF, ZAFT, and ORB. Should that be added to the Terminal section?

  • Given the complete lack of reliable information on Terminal and the intermixing between it and the TSA/Clyne Faction, I think it would be unwise to expand it much.Xenon Zaleo 02:47, 30 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] ZAFT Uniform

There is also shown an orange ZAFT uniform in episode 20 from GSD. Mabye some explanation i've possible on this? Justix-nl 13:45, 14 May 2007 (UTC)
