[edit] Merge into List of Marilyns in Scotland

Corbetts are defined as mountains with a relative height of at least 150 m and a height of between 2000 and 2500 ft; Marilyns are defined as mountains with a relative height of at least 150nbsp;m and any height. All Corbetts are therefore also Marilyns.

All of the content on this page is duplicated on the four lists of Marilyns in Scotland (N. Highlands, S. Highlands, Lowlands and Islands). At present, it's not easy to pick out Corbetts specifically; however, I'd like to address that by colouring Corbetts. (See my proposal on Talk:List_of_Marilyns_in_the_Southern_Highlands.) Once that's done, and once an explanatory note is added to clarify the Sgurr a' Bhac Chaolais / Buidhe Bheinn anomaly, I don't see any particular reason to retain this page.

I'd like to suggest that this page is replaced by a redirect to List of Marilyns in Scotland and the introductory paragraph is expanded to mention what a Corbett is (and also what a Graham is), and to make it explicit that all Corbetts and Grahams are Marilyns and are therefore listed on the four lists.

Any thoughts? — ras52 13:01, 27 August 2007 (UTC)
