	List of Chicano poets falls under the scope of WikiProject Mexican-Americans, an effort to build a comprehensive and detailed guide to Mexican-Americans on the Wikipedia. This includes but is not limited to Mexican-Americans as well as those not so affiliated, country and region-specific topics, and anything else related to Mexican-Americans. There is also a List of notable Chicanos, and of course there is the Category Mexican Americans. I suggest we merge the two lists and place it in the Mexican Americans category, alphabetizing the people listed by last name and with a brief description of what the person does or did. I'm going to leave a parallel comment on the list of notables to survey sentiment.--Rockero 17:55, 18 November 2005 (UTC)
