[edit] Cysero
I have a complaint with the entry on Cysero! It is nowhere confirmed that he is Sys-Zero, and Kordana refers to Cysero as a ship, not a fighter pilot instructor, which is what Sys-Zero is. Besides, look at them! Totally different looks, totally different personalities. A fighter pilot and a mad weaponsmith are not quite the same, even after the Reset. 71.10.48.39 (talk) 04:48, 10 March 2008 (UTC) (usu. Alinnisawest but too lazy to sign in right now :))
- Be bold and remove it! It's completely unverifible, which means it doesn't belong on Wikipedia. Thanks for pointing this out. I'll be going through the AE articles this week and removing stuff like this and can really use a hand finding such things. --Eruhildo (talk) 22:04, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
- So should I remove it? Enterprise-1701e (talk) 23:04, 16 March 2008 (UTC)

- Sure. I don't have time to monitor this page right now. After I finish with the DragonFable article, I plan to clean up the MechQuest article before I clean up this one. I will probably cut out a lot of stuff when I clean up this article, but if the main characters' sections are cleaner when I start, it will be much easier for me. --Eruhildo (talk) 04:55, 17 March 2008 (UTC)
while unverified it is taken as a general assumption by most thats its one in the same even though AE have never given the nod one way or the other —Preceding unsigned comment added by 60.242.106.194 (talk) 22:24, 19 March 2008 (UTC)

- I'll remove it, just in case. By the way, who created the page for the Knights of Oaklore? I edited it because there were corrections to do.Enterprise-1701e (talk) 05:53, 20 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Serenity a princess?
Unless you are able to reference the actual entry within the Dragon Fable Design Notes, I recommend removing the comment that she may be a princess with amnesia? Having personally been playing Dragon Fable since 2006 and regularly reading the Design Notes, I have never seen this comment and have strong doubts to its accuracy. If you know where the comment is, please cite it. Thanks! -- Beleg Strongbow (talk) 15:03, 10 April 2008 (UTC)
- Maybe they were thinking Sailor Moon? Just to let you know, this article needs major clean up. --Eruhildo (talk) 20:26, 10 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Another Knight?
When I created a new character for my brother, I went outside Oaklore Keep and saw somebody blocking the way to Falconreach. This was before I delivered the message to Rolith. I think his name is "Sir Convent". Should we add him? Captain | contribs 01:09, 24 May 2008 (UTC)
- Does he play a major part in the plot? My guess is he doesn't, so that means no. But thanks for bringing it up. --Eruhildo (talk) 05:46, 24 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Is This Page Necessary?
I've been looking at this page quite a bit lately, and then the List of Characters in MechQuest article got created (and redirected; thank you Eruhildo!) and I'm starting to wonder if this article is even necessary. It's so incredibly overburdened by fancruft and minor characters (do we really need a listing of EVERY SINGLE knight at Oaklore Keep?!) that it's not even salvageable. Would it be possible to merge the major characters into the main DF article (like Artix, Seplechure, etc.) or would it be better to simply rewrite the entire listing? There's so many major characters (if you take a couple of people from each zone, it's still like twenty people), it might not be possible to merge it, so maybe it should just be rewritten. Alinnisawest (talk) 16:15, 30 May 2008 (UTC)
- No, this page is not necessary. I meant to merge it when I cleaned up the DragonFable article, but I got busy with school and... I'm lazy -_-;; Here's an example of how to do a quick clean up on the current text:
-
- Artix von Krieger
- Artix is the in-game alter ego of the game's creator, Adam Bohn. He can be found either inside or next to the entrance of the Amityvale Graveyard and in front of the Necropolis. The version of him which stands outside the graveyard [He] offers several quests and can be invited to accompany player characters in battle. He is currently restricted to level 3 and has, as a consequence, only one attack ability. From August 3rd, 2007 until October 4th, he replaced Nythera in the town of Falconreach. He is the only NPC to appear twice in the non-quest world. As a young child, Artix and Vayle lived in the same village. When they were both young, he tried to rescue her from a river, but they were both washed downstream to an underground cave. While trying to find their way out, they stumbled upon the Darkness Orb, which both touched. Although Vayle gave in to the darkness, Artix remained strong and vowed to always stand for good. Later, when his village was destroyed by zombies (possibly controlled by Vayle), Artix joined the paladins to defeat the undead.

- Legend: definitely remove, probably should be removed
- What kind of characters should be removed entirely? How 'bout Douglas Digg - he doesn't do anything besides annoy you before you go grinding in the mines. Any character that does not play an important part in the main storyline (not side quests!) does not need to be listed. Character descriptions should be short and to the point and should not contain much data from the storyline - that stuff goes in the plot section! Bosses you fight don't need to be listed if all they do is fight the player. I think I'll write up some guidelines to help avoid this kind of stuff in the future. --Eruhildo (talk) 01:04, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
-
- Sounds good. Some official sort of guidelines would be nice, so we'd have a policy to explain why such and such a character is deleted. I think I'll make a userspace page to work on a short list for in the article. I guess we'd need like Artix, Seppy, Vayle, etc... hmm, I should probably work on trimming down the MQ Characters, too. It's better than it used to be, but still a little lengthy. Alinnisawest (talk) 04:05, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
