Talk:List of Beavis and Butt-head episodes

[edit] Availability
Perhaps the article could indicate which episodes are/aren't commercially available.
[edit] Renamed
I renamed this article to reflect the fact that Butt-head's name has a hyphen in it. It appears to only be linked from the main Beavis and Butt-head page. — FREAK OF NURxTURE (TALK) 05:19, May 7, 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Episode6-8
There's no Episode 6-8. Instead every other source skips this number, because it was when the movie was released. --62.214.140.225 7 July 2005 22:37 (UTC)
[edit] Suggestion
For people who are creating pages for the episodes, perhaps we should start with episodes not featured in the Mike Judge collection, seeing as there's always a chance they'll be taken off YouTube.--Spencer "The Belldog" Bermudez | (Complain here) 13:50, 28 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Removal of images
It may not be written in any guidelines or policies, but an explanation why all the pictures were removed would feel like a nice and respectful gesture towards those who have spent hours and hours uploading them. It took me a long time to find out that the explanation was hidden on the talk page of the List of Lost episodes (seems to have been moved now). I'm not gonna start another discussion about whether there should be images or not, I'm just saying that good leaders (or admins) make sure that their actions are explained, they don't demand that those affected go search for an explanation themselves.Jake73 21:57, 3 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Insect Court episode
I'm not sure that "Insect Court" was an episode of its own, was it? Here it seems like it was just part of the Lawn & Garden episode.Jake73 19:40, 23 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Episode notability
All of the episodes of this series fail the notability guidelines for television episodes. The way for these articles to be improved is through the inclusion of real-world information from reliable sources to assert notability. That is unlikely to happen, and these only have certain bad aspects (though all may not apply) like containing overly long or one sentence plot summaries, trivia, and quotes. Per that, they need to be a small part of this list.
If there are no objections, these will be redirected soon. Otherwise, discussion will take place here. Please remember that this is not a vote. If you like the information, that's fine and dandy, but your opinion doesn't really count towards anything. The only opinions that do count are ones that that lean towards the inclusion of real world information. TTN 23:11, 4 October 2007 (UTC)
- It's becoming quite clear, TTN, that to you real-world information from reliable sources to assert notability, don't exist at all. I'm still surprised that people who are bigger fans of B&B aren't on your case about this sabotage mission of yours. ----DanTD 23:20, 11 October 2007 (UTC)

- Please use civil language, DanDT, and assume good faith. --Jack Merridew 11:39, 12 October 2007 (UTC)
- TTN is quite right in his point; we have policies and the episodes all fail to adhere to them, hence they should be redirected. Eusebeus 19:08, 12 October 2007 (UTC)
- I would if I believed that having good faith weren't so difficult with that editor. ----DanTD 14:31, 14 October 2007 (UTC)
I'd say KEEP.
[edit] Episode listing?
Are the episode listings in the correct order? Beginning with Season 2, the episode numberings appear off, as well as the original airdates not appearing in chronological order.FA Shotgun (talk) 15:50, 24 November 2007 (UTC)
- I have corrected the whole list according to the episode listing at TV.com (with corrections included). December 15, 2007 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.165.215.32 (talk) 19:22, 15 December 2007 (UTC)

- I've gone through and put the episodes in the correct original broadcast order. I kept pretty specific logs (huh, huh) during the first few seasons, and have recently dug into Google newsgroup archives where I've found many dated posts to back up the airdate order. I also removed the production numbers, since they have no basis in fact and were merely the result of somebody in the past few years numbering the incorrect episode order as being reflective of the order they were produced.
- And lastly, I split the two-part episodes into two parts. Most official sources confirm full half-hour episodes, such as "No Laughing" and "Kidnapped" were treated by the production as being two episodes each. The old card set, for instance, would reflect the fact two-parters were the norm for half-hour episodes. Plus, when putting episodes into repeat rotation, they would all be split into their component parts (the only exceptions were the four Holiday specials, and "Most Wanted").SirStack (talk) 07:22, 24 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Unreferenced
Yesterday I completed the whole episodes list and took all informations from TV.com.
So, I deleted the "unreferenced"-segment
This article does not cite any references or sources. (December 2007) Please help improve this article by adding citations to reliable sources. Unverifiable material may be challenged and removed. |
Is that OK? 87.165.206.215 (talk) 16:56, 16 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Episode notes
I replaced the terms "double sized" and "triple sized" with "extended episode" (and re-worded the opening notes to supplement). The other phrases sounded too much like fast food jargon. Is this satisfactory? -- Jombage (talk) 12:20, 20 May 2008 (UTC)
