Talk:List of Bainbridge Island communities
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
In my opinion, individual communities, unless they are of note, should not be included here. If a community is of note, the content can most likely be included in the main article for Bainbridge Island. Nearly every community article linked to from this page is just a stub, with little potential for expansion. Mattjm 19:25, 4 February 2006 (UTC)
- I'm afraid I tend to disagree. What constitutes a significant community is debatable; the Census itself, after all, includes many communities with populations of under 100. Most of these have several hundred, are included on maps, and have a notable community centre. I also disagree that there is not significant room for expansion. In fact, many of these areas were at one time townships within themselves. I believe that is enough to justify their significance. I also do not see what under Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not is pertinent here. I do, however, appreciate the feedback. --Trafton 21:45, 5 February 2006 (UTC)
