[edit] episode list template

it's not about what "looked better before", it's about using the most useful template (Template talk:Episode list). it that allows one to include not just:

  • the episode number
  • the title
  • the original air date
  • a short summary

but also:

  • an image w/caption (these would be great)
  • 2 auxilary parameters (writer, director, perhaps?)
  • customizable colours for the dividing line and the top box (maybe one could be consistant for unity and the other different for each series to break up the monotony)
In reply, partly it is about what looks good. Most importantly though I doubt that an image of each episode would ever actually be uploaded, and most episodes were written by the same two people, so having a box for this is fairly pointless. And I really don't think we need colours to "break up the monotony", this is an encyclopedia not a children's guide. --Berks105 15:34, 15 January 2007 (UTC)

I've begun updating the table on this listing. I've uploaded screenshots for the Pilot and the first series. I thought it was best to use shots which displayed the episode title, and have done so for all but the pilot (which had no title). I'll continue to add shots as I find time.MArcane 01:37, 25 February 2007 (UTC)

Continued with screenshots from series 2 and some of 3. Also changed the headers along the whole page to use orange (which is a AYBSish color to me, for some reason).MArcane 04:00, 25 February 2007 (UTC)
Your updates are good and you have done using pretty much the same episode template and have not changed it to the other one. --Berks105 11:22, 25 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Producer and Director credits

I am putting the credits of producer and director down because other croft shows have got them why noy AYBS?

[edit] Series overviews - Series 7, 8, 9, 10

Hello. I have found some information about the series 7,8,9 and 10 episodes. I think that some brief overviews should be given for these episodes, and the last few Christmas specials. Anyone willing to do this can find the information for:

I am unfamiliar with how to insert the information into a table, so I unfortunately cannot do this. Thank you. 58.179.91.1 02:05, 10 March 2007 (UTC)

I do intend to add overviews for these episodes, like I have for all the ones before. It's just a matter of when I get round to it. --Berks105 09:30, 10 March 2007 (UTC)
