Talk:List of American television series

I'm attempting to categorise (-ize?) these shows, but obviously being a Brit I've never seen half of them. I could do with a bit of help. --Phil 13:18, Feb 11, 2004 (UTC)

I wouldn't try to recategorize the shows since it seems best served sorting it by alphabet. Although there is no reason why there couldn't be another article for a listing of television series by category. --ShaunMacPherson 10:08, 28 July 2005 (UTC)

Who the hell keeps this thing up to date, and how? TV series come and go so quickly that it would be irresponsible to rely on this article in any capacity. Does the TV series have to be currently running to be added to the list?

Two questions, are we allowed to put the The in TV show titles at the end (so that The Beverly Hillbillies would be Beverly Hillbillies, The)? And do ya'll think it would be alright if I did? Maximus23623 (talk) 15:28, 7 December 2007 (UTC)
