Tough question. The Bill doesn't categorise it as a soap (though mentions the 1998 soapy revamp). It's kind of a soap but if you're going to add actors here then perhaps the intro to the show's article needs mention of it being a soap opera. violet/riga (t) 22:09, 27 Oct 2004 (UTC)

[edit] Scope of this list

I notice that this list is titled "list of soap opera actors", but the introduction to the list says that is is US-only (a "list of actors in American soap operas".) So, what should the scope of the list be? If it is just US soaps, the the page should be moved (e.g. to list of American soap opera actors,) and if it is not just US soaps, then the introduction should be changed and the list tagged with {{globalize/USA}}. OK, I'm being bold and moving it to List of American soap opera actors ... However, this list seems somewhat redundant of the various "soap opera actor" categories, not much links to it, and it seems like one of those potentially-endless, never-to-be-complete, trivial lists that should be deleted.
