There should me more added to this regarding here history, as well as more detail on her routine.--Mark 19:44, 21 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] RIT / deaf protest

Regarding this edit... I saw another editor suggest the event attracted national attention from the press. If that can be proven, I wouldn't mind if the section is included. (the NPOV concerns could be resolved by stating just what the edit summary stated... that insult comics insult everyone... Lisa says exactly that near the end of this video she posted (going so far as to turn the issue around, saying that the deaf community should be offended if she omitted deaf people from her routine, since she insults everyone else)). --Interiot 17:04, 9 April 2007 (UTC)

For what it's worth, there's this article from the Quad-City Times in Iowa. It's also written from Lisa's perspective on the situation, so it would provide some balance to the mainly anti-Lisa sources that were given before. But I still don't have much of an opinion on the whole thing. --Interiot 18:57, 25 May 2007 (UTC)
At this point, I think it's died down and is a non-issue. When it happened, I didn't know if it would blow over or become a Michael Richards or Don Imus sort of situation. It seems to have blown over, so I'm fine with its omission now. —C.Fred (talk) 19:48, 25 May 2007 (UTC)
