From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
In the history of rail transport there have been literally hundreds of named passenger trains, dating back to the 19th Century.
Named railroad train lists can be accessed below by their World region. The United States, Canada, and United Kingdom are listed out of alphabetical order on the assumption that they will be the most accessed due to the volume of information they contain. Trains with numeric-type names are spelled out. For example, the 20th Century Limited is listed under "Twentieth Century Limited".
