[edit] Miscellanea

  • Just after the album was recorded and finished and ready for inspection by their record label, producer Chris Thomas said to the band that the album didn't have a "hit", so he ordered Andrew Farriss and Michael Hutchence to write a song by the next morning to record. They did accomplish it in the end, and the song was "What You Need", their most successful single from the album.
  • The song "Kiss the Dirt (Falling Down the Mountain)" was featured on the fictional radio station Flash FM in the video game Grand Theft Auto: Vice City.
