[edit] Digital Typographic Systems

State-of-the-art digital typographic systems have solved virtually all the demands of traditional typography and have expanded the possibilities with many new features. The matrix system of Gutenberg lends itself well to a soft approach. OpenType, a font format devised by Microsoft Corporation and Adobe Systems is one modern implementation of typographic features, and Apple Computer's ATT is another implementation.
