- WWSP radio - Stevens Point, Wisconsin (University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point) - Since 1969; bills itself as "The World's Largest Trivia Contest"
- Williams College Trivia Contest - WCFM radio - biannual contest held continuously since 1966
- Great Midwest Trivia Contest - WLFM radio Appleton, Wisconsin (Lawrence University) - also began in 1966, and is likely the world's oldest by a few days over Williams College's
- KVSC radio Saint Cloud, Minnesota (St. Cloud State University) - started in 1980; held every February the week after the Super Bowl
- KaleidoQuiz - KURE Iowa State University's trivia contest since 1967 [1] [2] [3]
- Trivia Bowl - University of Colorado at Boulder [4] - 1968 to 1993, resumed in 2001
