  • STV Royston Grange : 7,113 ton, British cargo liner, sunk in the Punta Indio Channel in the Uruguay after colliding with the oil tanker Tian Chee and subsequent fire. She was the first British ship to be lost with all hands since World War II. 74 fatalities.
