[edit] One-off Community Radio Stations

The Broadcasting Authority of Malta also issues licenses to one-off community radio stations. These stations are set-up to cover a particular event or occasion, mainly the village’s local feast. In most cases, these stations are owned by Band Clubs and are normally allowed to broadcast to their locality at 0.5 Watts.

In 2006, the following temporary radio stations were granted a license: Radju Hal Tarxien, 2006 Circuit Assembly of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Radju Banda San Filep, Radju Lehen il-Guzeppini, Radio 12th May, Radju Pawlin, Lehen il-Karmelitani, Radju Vizitazzjoni, Radju Margerita, Radju Sacro Cour Sliema, Radju Gilju Rebbieh, Radju Santa Venera, Radio Stella Maris, Radju 15 t’Awissu, Radju Santa Katerina, Radju Leonardu, Radio TZ, Radju Belt Rebbieha.
