[edit] Fall 2008
Rights to American imports Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy! has been acquired by the CBC for broadcast beginning September, 2008.[1] Currently, Wheel airs on various stations throughout Canada (such as the A-Channel stations in Ontario), while CTV carries Jeopardy! on most of their stations. The network has indicated that it will air Wheel at 5:30 p.m. and Jeopardy! at 7:30 p.m. weeknights.
Scripted series which have been announced for the fall season include The Session and The Wild Roses.[2]
Most CBC programs from the 2007 season, with the exceptions of Intelligence and MVP, will return in the fall of 2008.[3]
