- Dave Andrews, longtime radio personality, winner of a AAF American Advertising Award in 1999. longtime Abilene resident and radio personality for numerous stations in Texas, including KFGL 97.1 The Eagle in Dallas, TX. Worked with the world's oldest rock and roll weatherman Stubby Baldwin. Dave Andrews was the afternoon drive on air personality on KEYJ Rock 108 for almost 12 years. He is currently a real estate investor and resides with his wife in Abilene. Dave Andrews became the first professional baseball public address announcer in history to be ejected from a professional baseball game. The game was between Abilene Prairie Dogs and the Amarillo Dillas in July 1995.[1]
