List of omitted Bible verses

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This is a list of Bible verses that are present in the King James Version but absent from most bible translations completed after 1881. In particular these specific verses are not in the New International Version, but the list for other modern translations is similar.

The designation omitted Bible verses is used in the technical sense, to indicate text for which a verse number has been reserved but which is not present. It is not a statement concerning the validity of the King-James-Only Movement.

All verses listed are from the King James Version, unless noted.
