[edit] Fowl Manor
The home of Artemis Fowl II, Artemis Fowl I, Angeline Fowl, Artemis' younger siblings, Butler and his younger sister, Juliet, located near Tara, Ireland. It is a large complex with a fortified medieval wall surrounding a central Manor House as well as gardens and fields for growing their own food.
[edit] Fowl Star
The ship that Artemis's father was on while on a plan to establish new shipping routes to the Far East. It sank after the Russian Mafia sent a torpedo to blow up the ship, near the Kola Peninsula, near Murmansk.
[edit] Haven City
A fairy metropolis. Located several hundred miles underground, it is the capital of the Lower Elements and is believed to have a population of only around ten thousand . It is so named because it is one of the last havens for fairies; along with Atlantis, is one of the only places that a large number of fairies can live. The only humans known to have been to Haven are Artemis Fowl and his servant, Butler. Haven is powered by eco-friendly means, and as artificial sunstrips located on its ceiling to give the illusion of day and night.
[edit] Hybras
An island featured in Artemis Fowl: The Lost Colony. It is actually a large piece of lunar rock, which fell from the moon when a large meteorite hit it. When it landed on Earth, it made contact with a magma stream and was welded to the surface. The Demons and imps (and warlocks) that live there are descended from bacterial life forms in the lunar soil. During the battle of Tailtte, the warlocks of the demon tribe teleported Hybras through a "time tunnel" where it hung in Limbo (where time does not exist). In Artemis Fowl: The Lost Colony, the time tunnel spell shows signs of unraveling; if the spell should fail, Hybras would be torn apart and spread arbitrarily through time and space. However, with the help of Artemis, the island is sent back to Ireland's coast.
[edit] Police Plaza
Located in Haven, the Police Plaza holds the barracks and control center for the Lower Elements Police (LEP), including head technician Foaly's operations booth and the LEPretrieval and LEPrecon squads. It is attacked by the goblin force B'wa Kell in Artemis Fowl: The Arctic Incident, though the plot is foiled at the last minute. The plaza is heavily defended by laser cannons set to stun.
[edit] Spiro Needle
The headquarters of the business Fission Chips, owned by Jon Spiro, located in downtown Chicago. Though it is heavily guarded, and has an advanced security system, Artemis Fowl is able to break into it.
[edit] Tara
A surveillance and travelling point used by fairies, and where most fairies replenish their magic at the full moon, making it very crowded.
