Civil parishes in Derbyshire. Derbyshire districts are sometimes parished and sometimes they are administered by the district council. The districts are shown to the right. Please use a cursor to investigate.

The towns of Buxton and Glossop are unparished, but the remaining part of the district is divided into 22 parishes. High Peak is the most northern part of Derbyshire and it borders Greater Manchester, Staffordshire and South Yorkshire.

The district is entirely parished.

The town of Swadlincote is unparished but the rest of South Derbyshire is divided into 50 parishres.

Ilkeston, Long Eaton and Kirk Hallam are unparished, but the rest of the district is divided into fourteen parishes.

The district is entirely parished.

The district is entirely parished.

Most of the district is unparished. Staveley was a successor parish in 1974 and joins Brimington which was part of Chesterfield Rural District before 1974.
