The Saint Thomas Choir of Men and Boys is considered by critics to be the leading ensemble in the Anglican choral tradition in the United States, and among the finest in the world. The choir's primary raison d’être is to provide music for five choral services each week at St. Thomas Church, which is located at Fifth Avenue and Fifty-Third Street in New York City. It also gives numerous and varied concerts throughout the year, often combining its performances with those of world-class musicians from all over the globe.
The choir is composed of grown men, who are professional singers, and boy choristers, grades three through eight, all of whom attend the nearby Saint Thomas Choir School. The school is the only church-affiliated residential choir school in the United States, and one of only four such schools remaining in the world. It is highly selective and academically rigorous; the 35 to 40 boys who attend the school each year live, study, and sing together as part of a unique community and tradition.

The Choir of St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle has been in existence since 1348 and, with the exception of the Commonwealth period (1649-1660), has sung services in the Chapel continuously ever since.
