Cole is an American black bear, who was raised by Park Ranger Devon, and his daughter, Jaclyn, ever since he was a cub. He loves living in the small town of Colorado Springs, Colorado, with his owners, and couldn't be happier any other way. But one day, as his owners leave him at home, he encounters Roco the Raccoon who breaks into his owners' log cabin and trashes it completely When Devon and Jaclyn return, Devon realizes that they can no longer keep Cole and send him to the national forest just outside of town. It is there, that Cole encounters Jimmy the Mule Deer, and the two embark on a nearly impossible mission back to Cole's garage. However, in the end, Cole decides that the woods is where he truly belongs. Cole is played by John Goodman.
