Beijing BRT Line 1. Note the doors on the left-hand side of the bus -- the BRT line uses central island platforms for most of its route.
More than 30 projects are being implemented or studied in China in some big cities.

- Tehran, Iran : Azadi Sq. to Tehran Pars Sq. - operational
A 18 km long BRT Project to be developed in two phases is planned for the urban centre. The first phase is an exclusive one way dedicated bus roadway on 2 lane with standard bus. the second phase is articulated bus with median station.
