The Ties That Bind: Part II |
FINALE--The Wedding. In the series finale, Junior's schedule goes haywire when an urgent matter in Alaska that requires his attention coincides with Kris' ride on Wildfire in the Tucker Stakes---and their wedding. Junior has to take an emergency trip to Alaska to help with the geothermal project. Wildfire returns home and Kris races Wildfire's last race. They win and Kris tells Junior (who is watching the race inside of the plane) that the win was for them and that she loves him. Matt asks Kris if she wants to take one last ride before he has to take her to the airport and she agrees. Matt gallops ahead of Kris and she looks around trying to find him. Suddenly Pablo and Danny come from the trees and Gene follows saying that it is time and carrying a wedding dress. At first Kris doesn't understand, but then Junior tells her that it is their wedding and Kris kisses him happily. Gene then talks to Kris about how she had hesitations with holding the wedding dress because she didn't have a daughter, but now she has one. Danny tells her that she couldn't have wished for a better sister. Gene and Pablo give Kris her wedding present, Wildfire. She is hesitant at first, stating that she was going to Alaska, but Junior comes up and tells her that it would be pretty lonely without him and Wildfire. She asks him why he won't be there and he says that they should be together at home, because they are great just where they are. Then the wedding starts. Junior and his dad reconcile because of Kris. Kris and Junior say their "I Do's" with no hesitation and exchange wedding rings. Then they share their first kiss as husband and wife. The camera shows the happy faces, including Matt, and then show Kris and Junior kiss again and then the camera goes out on Kris's happy face. |
