The following is a complete list of episodes for the dramatic television series, Twin Peaks, created by David Lynch and Mark Frost. Twin Peaks premiered on April 8, 1990 on the ABC Network in the United States, spanning two seasons of 30 episodes. Subsequently, however, it was cancelled on June 10, 1991. Both seasons of Twin Peaks were released on DVD in 2001 and 2007, respectively.[1][2] A "Definitive Gold Box Edition", a box set of the complete series with additional features, was also released October 30, 2007.[3]
Twin Peaks follows Agent Dale Cooper, who is sent to the fictional city of Twin Peaks, Washington to investigate the murder of popular and respected high school student, Laura Palmer. The series starred Kyle MacLachlan as Cooper, Michael Ontkean as Sheriff Harry S. Truman, Dana Ashbrook as Bobby Briggs, Lara Flynn Boyle as Donna Hayward, Mädchen Amick as Shelly Johnson, Sherilyn Fenn as Audrey Horne and Sheryl Lee as Laura Palmer.
A feature-length prequel film, entitled Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me, was released on August 28, 1992 as an attempt to connect the events leading up to Laura's death.[4]

The first season of Twin Peaks began airing on April 8, 1990 and featured a total of 8 episodes. The pilot opens with the discovery of the body of Laura Palmer, a popular high school student, wrapped in plastic, an event which moves residents of the small town of Twin Peaks, Washington. The investigation of Palmer's murder is assigned to Dale Cooper, an eccentric FBI agent by Sheriff Harry S. Truman. As Cooper settles into his life in Twin Peaks, he meets the town's residents, who each prove bizarre and quirky in their respective ways. As the series progresses, the seemingly normal appearance of the town begins to fade, revealing various secrets that expose Twin Peaks as the disturbed, unsettling town that it is.

| Under the orders of Ben Horne, Leo embarks on a plan not only burn the Packard Saw Mill but eliminate Shelly, Catherine Martell and Bobby Briggs in one fell swoop. Things take a rather violent turn when Agent Cooper successfully lures Jacques Renault across the Canadian border and his involvement in the death of Laura is revealed. The second season began airing on September 30, 1990 and featured a total of 22 episodes. Cooper's investigation of Laura Palmer's murder is interrupted, when he receives a suspension from the FBI due to his unauthorized raid on the One Eyed Jacks casino. Upon returning to the Great Northern Hotel, he is shot by mysterious assailant, whose attack he survives. He later receives some clues about Laura's death from a mysterious "giant" that appears to him in a dream. As the town prepares for its "Miss Twin Peaks" contest, Cooper tries to uncover the secret of the Black Lodge with help from Sheriff Truman.
