- Bob Castrone and Brian Levin, producers and stars of The Post Show on Turner Broadcasting System's Super Deluxe broadband comedy network.
- Charles S. Dutton, actor.
- Kevin Clash, the voice of Elmo
- Dwight Schultz, TV actor, played Capt. "Howling Mad" Murdock on The A-Team and Lieutenant Reginald Barclay in Star Trek: The Next Generation, graduated with a BA in Arts.
- Gerry Sandusky, Sportscaster for WBAL Channel 11 in Baltimore, son of Baltimore Colts' John Sandusky.
- John Glover, Smallville star (graduated and received an honorary Masters degree) and frequently visits the Theater department to work with students. Recognized as a Distinguished Alumnus in May 2008.
- Mike Rowe, Discovery Channel's Dirty Jobs host.
- Stacy Keibler, Actress and former WWE Diva was part of Towson's Mass Communications department. Her graduation is uncertain.
- Charla Baklayan Faddoul and Mirna Hindoyan, contestants on the fifth and eleventh (all-star version) editions on the American multiple-Emmy Award-winning game show The Amazing Race.

- Johnny Unitas - former quarterback for the Baltimore Colts, he served as Towson Athletics's community liaison and raised funds for the school's athletic programs.
- Donald Minnegan - former coach, he was the school's coach of their championship soccer teams. The school's mascot, Doc is named after him.
