For the first time, the newly-hired teen writers meet D.J, Teen Buzz's editor, who assigns each staffer a column to write. Their first assignment -- think of a title for their column by the end of the day. For Rebecca, this proves more difficult than she thought, but help comes from an unexpected source. Also: Noah pranks Michael for taking the desk that Noah wanted; and Wilder plays an old video game that he finds harder than the games of today.

D.J and the TEEN Buzz gang are crazy about new hit single "Locco Locco" by a band with a parrot named Poco... well, everyone but Noah. D.J arranges for the parrot to come to TEEN Buzz for an interview, leaving Noah and Rebecca in charge of taking care of him. While looking after the parrot, Rebecca interviews Noah for her smart aleck article. Rebecca, trying to be a smart aleck opens the parrot's cage and lets Poco escape! Meanwhile, Michael obsesses over a guy's "nice tie" comment after Amanda tells him it MAY have been sarcastic. Wilder is confused over whom to choose for his mentor.

Wilder teaches Amanda the game "Dance Your Socks Off" and Amanda gets hooked on it, resulting in some pretty strange behaviour. Rebecca persuades Michael to be friendly with Noah, so Michael invites him to a basketball game. Noah ditches him, so Michael pulls the ultimate prank.

Noah and Wilder fight over a cool jacket they get from the set of Pizza Patrol; Amanda and Rebecca have to do a school presentation together first they do "40 winks" a sleepover show which is a flop and ends up in a food fight, then they do "Babes On A Budget" a style show which is a hit; Michael obsesses over a call with with his idol Kelly Clarkson.

Rebecca tries skateboarding with disastrous results for Wilder; Noah and Amanda interview a singer with an interesting past- she was the main star of a kids tv show Topsy Turvy Time. Amanda is bumped off the interview when she talks about the show and Noah continues with it so they have a tussle. But after all, Noah and Amanda make up. Michael tries to get the perfect paparazzi shot for the magazine.

After teasing Mr. Shepherd for being on the spirit squad when he was young, Michael and Rebecca must try out for the team at Ernie Coombs High. When Rebecca gets selected, Michael feels left out. Noah and Wilder fight over sharing a locker, Amanda has to wear ugly shoes after hurting her ankle, and Shepherd searches for a goofy picture of DJ.

Noah writes a song for someone he's crushing on and both Amanda and Rebecca think he wrote it for them. Wilder tries to dance with as many girls as possible at the dance and Michael tries to ruin it for him. The tables turn and then all the girls chase Michael. Noah tells both of the girls that the song is not for them. He is disappointed that even Rebecca would do such a horrible thing. Note:This is the first episode in which we get a hint that Rebecca and Noah might become a couple.

Rebecca's hilariously bad dancing leaks online on Glee Tube and becomes a laughing stock; Michael gets a chance to be on Entertainment Wow and it goes to his head; and Noah takes credit for a magazine idea of Wilder's that is to write an article from the parent's point of view.

Michael D'Ascenzo from Naturally Sadie guest stars for a live webcast on the Buzz website. But his girlfriend text message dumps him and he locks himself in a room at the TEEN Buzz office. Amanda models clothes from a number of designers for the audience to choose.

Everything goes wrong when the Teen BUZZ gang must pull together an issue at the last minute.
