This is an episode list for the American action adventure television series The A-Team. The series began airing on NBC on January 23, 1983 with the pilot episode, and ended on March 8, 1987 with "Without Reservations". The show comprises 98 episodes.

Newspaper reporter, Amy Allen, sets out to prove The A-Team—a commando unit from the Vietnam War convicted of a crime they did not commit, who are working on the side of the law as mercenaries—really exists and ends up hiring them to rescue one of her fellow reporters who has been kidnapped by Mexican outlaws. The A-Team—Col. John "Hannibal" Smith, Lt. Templeton "The Faceman" Peck ("Face"), and Sgt. Bosco "B.A." Baracus—travel to Mexico in a plane piloted by their fearless but clinically insane pilot, Capt. H.M. "Howling Mad" Murdock.

Part 2 of the pilot episode in which the A-Team have been captured by a group of guerillas and the gang leader they were sent to fight. In the final battle they are assisted by the villagers and with their help, the A-Team is able to overthrow the guerillas, save the reporter and make their way home. Once home, Amy Allen blackmails her way onto the team.

B.A.'s friend Jase is sent to a prison, where he must fight in death matches for the amusement of the warden and several high-profile gamblers. Jase is able to escape but is captured again in front of B.A., who enlists the other members of the A-Team to help out Jase.

A police inspector Maloney seeks the A-Team's help in bringing down a renegade SWAT team that has been committing crimes for money.

B.A. Baracus ends up with a .50 calibre gunshot wound in the leg, and the the A-Team must stop off at a small town to get him a blood transfusion. While B.A. is forced to accept a transfusion from Murdock, he and the rest of the A-Team must face off against a group of bikers that is threatening the town. Meanwhile, the military police is on the way to the team's location.

The A-Team are called to Las Vegas to search for a missing college professor who developed the perfect gambling system. There, they become embroiled in a mob power play after they are framed for the murder of high-ranking mobster Gianni Christian and must prove their innocence.

The Military Police finally capture the A-Team but doesn't get much of a chance to gloat about it when a high ranking state department official steps in and coerces the team into a covert operation to rescue the team's former commanding officer, General Ludlum who, along with his daughter, has been captured by a power hungry dictator in Borneo.

The A-Team must rescue a reluctant bride from the hands of her want-to-be husband, murderer and former business partner of her late father. With the team's arrival on the late side, Face becomes the target for Hannibal's newest plan: to wed the bride.

The A-Team are called in to rescue a hijacked 747. In doing so, B.A. must overcome his fear of flying in order to rescue Hannibal and Face (in disguise), who willingly give themselves up to the hijackers in exchange for the hostages.

The A-Team find themselves in a small village, paying respects to a fallen comrade from the Vietnam War. While there, they seek to avenge his murder and bring his killers to justice.

The daughter of a murdered mine owner hires the A-Team to help her with her inherited diamond mine in South Africa. In order to get the mine up and running, the A-Team must transport dynamite to it, but they are opposed by a ruthless businessman and his henchmen.

When the A-Team come across an old Vietnamese cook that they recognize as the man that helped them survive captivity in a POW camp during the war, they must help him against the camp’s commander who now seeks revenge.

Face receives his old fraternity pin in the mail, to him a sign that an old girlfriend of his is in trouble. Unable to convince the others to help him, Face must hire the A-Team to track the woman down to Ecuador, where she has become a nun. His fears turn out to be justified when they learn she and the rest of the convent are being held hostage.

B.A. is convinced by a young girl to help her and her family escape from a group of smugglers who are holding her ill mother and others as slaves. When Hannibal goes undercover and is found out, the others must race to save both him and the girl’s mother.

A new antagonist is introduced in the form of Col. Roderick Decker, and he will stop at nothing to apprehend the A-Team. Meanwhile, the team travels to the Midwest to protect a herd of wild mustangs from being slaughtered.

With Decker hot on their heels, the A-Team must try and find of evidence of the mustangs’ illegal rustling as quickly as possible, before they are captured themselves. With enemies coming from two sides, it is ultimately up to Murdock to save his friends.

A small cab company must deal with a rather overzealous competing business that will stop at nothing to see the small company destroyed. The A-Team quickly come to the aid of the company and become involved with a war on the streets of Los Angeles between cab drivers.

Narrowly escaping Decker once more, the A-Team hide in a small town, only to find that a group of migrant workers are being abused by a malignant land owner. The A-Team step in to help and try to push the workers into forming a union.

When a construction company is about to demolish an old high-rise they are suddenly confronted with strange and reoccurring accidents. The project is being sabotaged by a high-ranking mobster, who buried his partner there years before.

Face must run for the position of sheriff in a small town in order to battle the current sheriff’s corruption. When Decker sees Face’s photograph in the newspaper though, the A-Team must quickly deal with their mission to avoid capture.

In order to protect their own interests, the A-Team must take on a Chinese tong, a secret criminal society. The tong is extorting, among other businesses, a small restaurant run by a friend of the team, a business the team sponsors.

A courier pilot is imprisoned in South America when he is discovered to be smuggling cocaine. In fact, he is innocent, and the A-Team is called in to prove so. Travelling to South America, they must deal with the authorities and the man behind the drug smuggling operation.

A group of robbers calling themselves the Scorpions are using army-like tactics to rob unsuspecting casino tourists. An elderly couple calls in the help of the A-Team, who quickly uncover the robbers’ scheme and their true goal, which concerns their imprisoned leader.

Taking a break from work to focus on their training, the A-Team fall prey to a mirror team, consisting of four mercenaries, brought together by a collection of the A-Team’s enemies. Taking down the A-Team one by one, the only one standing in the villain’s way is Hannibal.

Tawnia Baker, the A-Team's support member for the last half season calls in the help of her friends to find an archaeologist (secretly her fiancé) that has gone missing during an Amazon expedition. Traveling to the Amazon, the A-Team must deal with the local pirate king, "El Cajon" (the coffin).

Continuing from the last episode, the A-Team have to find a way to locate the pirates, bringing them into unknown territory. Locating the pirates, they come across a plot that is far greater than any of them could've expected. This is the last appearance of Tawnia Baker, who weds her fiancé at the end of the episode.

A female fire chief calls in the help of the A-Team to help defend her department from a competing fire fighting department. Meanwhile, Col. Decker is replaced by Col. Briggs, who opens his hunt on the A-Team. However, after this episode, Col. Decker makes his reappearance, with no explanation as to the disappearance of Briggs.

Travelling to Italy to rescue a judge's daughter from a group of mobsters, the A-Team runs into trouble when they find that the mobsters are quite well-prepared on their own territory. Meanwhile, Col. Decker is once again hot on the trail of the team.

While avoiding a Decker trap, the A-Team stumble upon an illegal operation that includes knocking off skid-row winos. Hannibal, impersonating a wino calling himself Jim Beam, is abducted. He manages to escape and rejoin the team. Together they set out to expose the secret group by setting up a mission of their own, and run them out of business. What they will find is an operation bigger than they previously imagined. The team needs more help than they realised.

The A-Team are approached by retired General Hunt Stockwell, who offers them the choice between going to jail or performing a mission for him. They are to free a group of hostages from a hijacked plane in Spain. As an extra incentive, Stockwell reveals that former ally John Curtis is on the plane, who might have information that could clear the A-Team's names. Instead, after being freed, Curtis betrays the team. 
87 2 "Trial by Fire (Part 2 of The Revolution/The Court Martial)"  Tom Blomquist Les Sheldon October 3, 1986
The court martial of the A-Team is under way, featuring witnesses (among them Col. Roderick Decker) and a recounting of the team's "crime they didn't commit". Meanwhile, Murdock, together with new cast addition Frankie Santana (Eddie Velez) seek to prove the team's innocence.

Time is running out for the team as their execution is impending. Murdock and Frankie desperately seek Stockwell's help in helping the team escape but are rebuffed. Eventually, through clever manipulation of Stockwell, the team escape their execution and are coerced into joining Stockwell's agency, where upon they will perform missions for him in exchange for their pardon.

The A-Team must deal with Stockwell's former partner turned adversary, who has kidnapped Stockwell. If they cannot find and free Stockwell in time, they lose any hope of securing their pardon.

Face plans to leave the A-Team during the upcoming mission, no longer believing that they can secure a pardon. Instead he finds himself returned to the team after trying to run away numerous times in order to help a reporter.

In a special episode of whom the ending was voted on by viewers, the A-Team must help a former political advisor to reunite with his lost daughter in exchange for a diary with large political ramifications. Unbeknownst to Face, the advisor is in fact his father, a fact Murdock learns of during the course of the episode, causing a dilemma for Murdock on whether or not he should tell his friend.

The A-Team travel to Hong Kong after Hannibal goes missing in action during a solo mission. With the assistance of Stockwell, they hope to A) complete Hannibal's mission in time and B) find and save Hannibal himself.

The A-Team become mixed up in a fight between two warring tribes concerning a religious artifact they secured for Stockwell. With the artifact in his hands, the tribe mistake Murdock for a god.

Murdock must assume the guise of a James Bond-type secret agent named Logan Ross in order to stop professional assassin Jourdan from completing his next mission.

The A-Team are called in to retrieve a briefcase housing various faked government secrets, meant to be given to the Soviets. During their mission they come across a group of retired elderly men and women, to whom the episode's title refers.

Face becomes critically injured when a group of mobsters take over the restaurant Murdock works at. Together with Frankie, the three are taken hostage and it is up to Hannibal and B.A. to rescue them in time to save Face's life.
