Still in the town of Patzuille, Lawrence and Holo decide to buy Holo a nicer set of clothes, but Lawrence only has a gold piece which is too large of a denomination for purchasing clothes. They return to Weiz to exchange it for silver and agree to later meet at a tavern for drinks. Lawrence uses a "secret" in order to buy Holo clothes that were once worn by a noble. The secret involves first buying cheap blankets at an inflated price in order to buy the expensive clothes at an extremely cheap price, which was made even cheaper by Holo's charm. Although the clothes merchant made a profit on the blankets, he lost money on the entire deal because of the more expensive clothes, all of which Lawrence later explained to Holo. These are the clothes that Holo is seen wearing for the rest of the series. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
